Before we start - have you read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) for this pill?

The leaflet explains how to take it, who should not take it, missed-pill rules, and the side effects. Ask us if you do not have a copy.

Is this pill for you (the account holder), to take yourself?

This is a personal contraceptive - the person who will take it needs to answer these questions themselves.

What is your biological sex?

We ask because this is a contraceptive for people who can become pregnant.

How old are you?
Could you already be pregnant?

This pill should only be started when you can be reasonably sure you are not already pregnant.

Do you have, or have you ever had, breast cancer?
Do you have any unexplained bleeding from the vagina - for example between periods or after sex?
Do you have severe liver disease or a liver tumour?
Have you ever had a blood clot, heart attack, or stroke?
Are you taking any enzyme-inducing medicines - for example some epilepsy medicines, rifampicin, certain HIV medicines, or St John's Wort?
Are you currently using another form of hormonal contraception, or switching from one?
Are you allergic to desogestrel or any of the other ingredients?
Do you understand how to take it every day at about the same time, what to do if you miss a pill or are more than 12 hours late, and that it does not protect against STIs?
