Before we start - have you read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) for this medicine?

The leaflet explains how to use it, who should not use it, and the side effects. Ask us if you do not have a copy.

Who will be using this medicine (the intended user)?
Are you - the person placing this order - 18 or over?

You must be 18 or over to buy from us. The medicine itself may be for someone else.

What is the intended user's biological sex?

We ask because it affects some safety checks (for example pregnancy).

Are the symptoms typical of piles (itching, discomfort, or a small lump around the back passage), or has the intended user had piles diagnosed before?
Does the intended user have any of these: heavy or persistent bleeding from the back passage, dark blood or blood mixed in with the stool, a change in their normal bowel habit, unexplained weight loss, or are they over 50 with new symptoms?
Is there any sign of infection in the area - spreading redness, pus, or a fever?

Steroid creams (such as Anusol Plus HC) should not be used on an infection.

Is the intended user pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding?
Has the intended user ever had an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in this product (including local anaesthetics, in products such as Germoloids)?
Have the symptoms lasted more than 7 days?
Do you understand to use this short-term, alongside plenty of fibre and fluids, and to see a GP if there is no improvement in 7 days or any bleeding continues?
