Before we start - have you read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) for this cream?

The leaflet explains how to use it, who should not use it, and the side effects. Ask us if you do not have a copy.

Who will be using this cream (the intended user)?
Are you - the person placing this order - 18 or over?

You must be 18 or over to buy from us. The cream itself may be for someone else.

Is the intended user 12 years or older?

These creams are generally for ages 12 and over. For younger children, please ask a pharmacist.

What is the intended user's biological sex?

We ask because it affects some safety checks (for example pregnancy).

Is this for a cold sore on or around the lips - a tingling, blistering patch the intended user has had before?
Is the cold sore near or affecting the eye, or is there any eye pain, redness, or change in vision?
Does the intended user have a weakened immune system - for example due to HIV, chemotherapy, immunosuppressant medicines, or an organ transplant?
Is the cold sore very large or spreading, does it look infected (yellow crusting, increasing redness, pus), has it not healed after about 10 days, or do cold sores keep coming back very often?
Has the intended user ever had an allergic reaction to aciclovir, penciclovir, or any ingredient in this cream?
Is the intended user pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding?
Do you understand to apply it as soon as the tingle starts, to use it as directed, not to share it with anyone, and to see a pharmacist or GP if it hasn't healed in about 10 days or keeps getting worse?
