Before we start - have you read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) for this medicine?

The leaflet explains how to use it, who should not use it, and the side effects. Ask us if you do not have a copy.

Who will be using this medicine (the intended user)?
Are you - the person placing this order - 18 or over?

You must be 18 or over to buy from us. The medicine itself may be for someone else.

Is the intended user 12 years or older?

Some Difflam products (especially the rinse) are for ages 12 and over. The spray may be used younger.

What is the intended user's biological sex?

We ask because it affects some safety checks (for example pregnancy).

Does the intended user have any of these now: difficulty breathing or swallowing, drooling, a very high fever, a stiff neck, a rash along with the sore throat, or a severe and rapidly worsening sore throat?
Have the symptoms lasted more than a few days, or do they keep coming back?
Has the intended user ever had asthma, wheezing, or a reaction (such as a rash or swelling) triggered by aspirin or another anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID)?

Benzydamine is related to the anti-inflammatory painkillers.

Has the intended user ever had an allergic reaction to benzydamine (Difflam)?
Is the intended user pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding?
Do you understand that this medicine relieves pain but does not treat an infection, and to see a pharmacist or doctor if symptoms are not better within a few days or get worse?
